The last few weeks have been filled with conversations, opportunities, and developments that honestly remind me just how faithful God is.

We've been working behind the scenes, strengthening our foundation, expanding relationships, and preparing for what we believe is an exciting next chapter for Kingdom Impact Group.

While we're not quite ready to share all the details yet, I can say this:

God is bringing the right people together at the right time.

Some announcements are coming soon, and I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported, encouraged, prayed for, and believed in what we're building.

One thing a lot of independent artists don’t realize is this:

Just because your music is available on streaming platforms doesn’t mean every royalty is automatically being collected.

There are multiple types of royalties connected to your music, including:

• Public performance royalties (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, etc.)
• Mechanical royalties
• Digital performance royalties through SoundExchange
• International and global collections

Your distributor helps get the music out.
But that doesn’t always mean everything is fully registered or administered correctly behind the scenes.

And when things aren’t set up properly, royalties can go unclaimed.

This isn’t just business paperwork.
It’s stewardship.

Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 27:23:

“Know well the condition of your flocks, and give attention to your herds.”

As artists, your catalog is part of what God has entrusted to you. Understanding ownership, registrations, and royalty collection matters more than many people realize.

And if all of it feels confusing or overwhelming, that’s okay too.

Sometimes wisdom means bringing alongside people who understand the process and can help make sure your music is being properly stewarded long-term.

Don’t just release the music.
Take care of what you’ve created.
