Topic: Pixel Pitch vs Viewing Distance (Outdoor Roadside LED)

Outdoor roadside LED performance is determined by one critical engineering factor: pixel pitch relative to viewing distance.
Too tight a pitch increases cost without visible benefit.
Too wide a pitch reduces readability at traffic speeds.
For roadside applications, proper engineering considers:
• Typical vehicle speed
• Setback distance
• Message dwell time
