“This Saturday, July 18th, marked 4 years with CED as Division Assistant for our Southern Division! 💖
When I stepped out of teaching and into recruiting, I had no idea what this path would hold for me. Going from a field I had 7 years of knowledge into a career that I had none in was quite the transition. I would be lying if I said I didn’t have imposter syndrome or think I wasn’t fit for this role, but let me tell you…the people you surround yourself with makes a difference! I’m so thankful for the community and family CED has given me. These people really pour into helping me grow into a better professional & overall a better person. I’m so thankful for a company culture that is so positive and encouraging!
This year has been my best one yet! I have given 4 presentations this summer, held my 3rd Internship Kickoff, hosted my first Talent Collective (CED Recruiter’s Meeting), and got to work alongside some of my favorite people at my universities! Along with continuing to get to hire great team members and even seeing my first few hires get placed as Managers! What a full circle moment!
Thank you to everyone who has poured into me and sends encouragement on the hard days! To anyone out there starting out, you got this! It’s going to be hard, but if you surround yourself with the right people you can’t go wrong ✨
