provides another great example supporting why this is critical to do. When employees fear repercussion for being open about any aspect of who they are, the result is feelings of exclusion - the opposite of inclusion.
To have a truly inclusive work environment, employees have to know it’s psychologically safe to be open about any aspect of their identity that they choose to share.
