🌸 Fresh Cut Flowers: Beautiful Today, Gorgeous Tomorrow! 🌸

One of the questions we hear most often is, "How long will my flowers last?" 💐

The average lifespan of fresh-cut flowers is 4-12 days, depending on the variety and how they're cared for. Some delicate blooms like Tulips may only last about a few days while hardy favorites like mums and carnations can stay beautiful for two weeks and even longer with proper care!

To help your blooms linger longer and keep showing off their beauty, here are a few florist-approved tips:

✨ Change the water every 2–3 days.
✨ Give stems a fresh trim (about ½ inch) at an angle before placing them back in water.
✨ Keep arrangements away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and ripening fruit (yes, bananas are flower-aging troublemakers! 🍌😅).
✨ Remove any leaves that sit below the waterline to help prevent bacteria from building up.
✨ Don't forget to use some flower food—we promise it's not just fancy flower seasoning! You can even whip up homemade flower food using 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1½ teaspoons sugar, and 3–4 drops of bleach. 😉

Think of flower care as a spa day for your bouquet—the better you treat them, the longer they'll reward you with their beauty. 🌷
