The Yankee Chapter of PRSA and the NH Hospital Association collaborated for a joint program on crisis communications, presented by Clark Dumont, APR, Fellow PRSA of Dumont Communications and Lauren Collins Cline, VP at Montagne Powers on May 21st at NHHA in Concord, NH. Membership Chair Robin Schell, APR, Fellow PRSA encouraged anyone in the room who is not yet a PRSA member to join!

The Patrick Jackson Annual Lecture at PRSA's Counselors to Higher Education was given this week to Dr. Gordon Gee, President, West Virginia University. Dr. Gee was introduced by our esteemed JJ&W colleague, Joe Brennan, MBA PhD, and VP , Communications & Marketing, Montclair University. Pat is gone almost 25 years now, but the difference he made in our profession lives on thanks to Dr. Gee, Joe and many others like them. Joe's remarks are found in comments.

Wishing everyone a peaceful, conflict free holiday. This is at least the 45th Thanksgiving card JJ&W has done over as many years. It is sent to our friends every year to announce the beginning of the holiday season. If you aren't on our list, that means you haven't met JJ&W yet (or you moved and we can't find your new address). Please stay safe and centered this season and beyond.

JJ&W's annual blueberry breakfast -- thanks to Pat and Isobel for growing a firm that always was, and still remains, more like a family than a workplace. Our alumni and even some clients come for pancakes made from scratch (Isobel's recipe) with blueberry sauce and sausages. s/o to my partner in crime, Stacey Smith, and her partner Howie (who was so busy cooking that he escaped the camera) for hosting!
