Friends of the firm and members of Sallie’s own community came together for the evening. It was a reminder that community works both ways: we love welcoming people in, and the people who join us make it richer.

There’s something special about sharing a meal together to celebrate the region we call home. 🌉

Cassandra, Travis and Sallie joined clients and friends of the firm at this year’s annual Tower Bridge Dinner to celebrate the bounty, growth and community that make Sacramento our favorite place to live and work.

Claire joined us as an apprentice and has grown into a strategist clients trust on issues spanning natural resources, infrastructure and tourism. Along the way, she's brought a journalist's instinct for storytelling, built at , ' student paper, together with a genuine gift for relationship-driven advocacy.

Beyond client work, Claire volunteers with She Shares and California Women Lead, paying forward the mentorship that shaped her own path. 💪

The end of session always reminds our own Niesha Fritz of a NASCAR race — the speed, the intensity, the bump-and-runs that move an opponent out of position. 🏁

After six years working in Capitol leadership, Niesha knows this pressure well. In her latest piece, “The Final Lap,” she walks through what’s still on the track as California’s legislature races toward the August 31 deadline — from wildfire liability to online privacy protections for kids — and the 200+ bills that didn’t make it out of Appropriations.
