Thanks to La Opinión, the largest Spanish-language newspaper in the country, for their coverage of today’s primaries. In an interview, our Ricardo A. Ramírez weighed in on why primaries matter and everyone should vote.
If there are primaries in your state today, be sure to consult your county or secretary of state’s websites for information on how to participate. Go vote! 🗳️

This year, we reached a humbling milestone: Forward Shift turned five years old.
We are grateful to our clients, who are taking on some of the bravest, most urgent fights of our time. From the streets of Los Angeles, to the skies above Florida, to the U.S. Capitol, we could not be prouder to support them with communications strategies.
We are honored to be in partnership with a dynamic community of grounded advocates. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us!

Congratulations to our Democracy Partners colleague Lauren Windsor on the launch of her documentary, Gonzo for Democracy.

Watch the documentary from The Undercurrent, now available on YouTube, via the link in our comment.

This means that 500,000 spouses of U.S. citizens can now live and work in the U.S. safely and without fear of deportation. We couldn’t be prouder to have contributed to this significant and humane policy change.

How do you say gerrymandering in Spanish? Congratulations to our client Brennan Center en Español on launching El Glosario, a list of definitions and translations that will help the conversation on democracy and justice reach more audiences.

El Glosario ofrece traducciones del inglés al español de palabras y términos frecuentemente usados en escritos sobre la democracia y el sistema de justicia, para facilitar la comunicación eficaz con el público de habla hispana y bilingüe.

Instead of letting public hosing units wither away, what if we invested in them? We recently supported Climate and Community Project in telling the story of how Congress can boost housing supply, all while addressing the climate crisis.

Proposal aims to decarbonize all of nation’s public housing units, with an investment of between $162bn and $234bn over next decade
