Photography by McClaren first started in 1978 by Ryan's father, Rob. As a graphic designer and highly experienced, sought-after commercial photographer moving into weddings and portraits was a natural outpouring. From a young age, Ryan’s curiosity and passion for photography began to grow. Rob began teaching Ryan a firm technical foundation of photography when Ryan was just 13, using a 35mm film c

amera and eventually transitioning to medium format film cameras. Going to countless weddings with Rob, Ryan took every opportunity to grow his skills and produce images that could be cherished by clients for years to come. Ryan and Jenn excitedly took the helm of Photography by McClaren in 2008. Ryan and Jenn have an enthusiasm to see the world through a different light. Defining moments with a click of a shutter, and creating opportunity for those moments to happen. Ryan puts 40 years of photography history to work creating stories of passion through a lens.
