Thank you to CCHR for a great Fall Conference in San Diego. It was a pleasure connecting with county HR directors and public sector professionals from across California and discussing today's workforce challenges.

One of the highlights was CEO Katie S. Hagen's session, "It's Not Always a Recruitment Problem: Diagnosing the Real Barriers to Public-Sector Hiring," which challenged attendees to look beyond recruitment efforts and examine the underlying factors contributing to persistent vacancies, including hiring processes, qualification requirements, onboarding capacity, candidate drop-off, and organizational growth.

Just wrapped up an energizing few days at the CSDA General Manager Leadership Summit in Newport Beach. From keynotes on employee commitment and inspired leadership to breakout sessions on governance, legal updates, and workforce strategy, the content hit home for California's special district leaders.

We were proud to have our own Kammy Haynes on the agenda, presenting "Leading Through Generational Change: Building Your Next-Level Workforce" to a great audience of GMs and emerging leaders.
