We’re excited to roll into another season with three events this spring and summer, popping up at different locations along Franklin Boulevard and celebrating community, culture, and classic cars.

Kick things off with us on Sunday, May 17th | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at 5385 Franklin Boulevard for a free community morning full of classic cars, coffee, delicious food, local vendors, and live DJ vibes by DJ Sanz 🎶

Grinding and paving will be happening at night from 33rd Avenue to 14th Avenue. Crews from George Reed, Inc. will be hard at work improving the roadway while trying to minimize disruptions.

Here’s what you can expect during night construction:
🔸 More truck and equipment activity (and some noise)
🔸 No on-street parking directly on Franklin Blvd
🔸 Intermittent closures & detours
🔸 Traffic signals set to flashing red mode

Our sister organization, Franklin Neighborhood Development Corporation (FNDC), has a request for artists.

We’re looking for local artists to design vinyl wraps for utility boxes along Franklin Boulevard. This initiative is part of a Beautification Project funded by a Clean California grant, aiming to transform plain utility boxes into vibrant public art pieces.

✅Stipend: $750 per design
✅Deadline: Feb 28, 2026
