This Little Genius

This Little Genius started due to my love for early childhood education never going away. Children have been a part of my life as long as I can remember. With 3 younger siblings, I've always felt like someone's teacher. The title became more official when my mother started her childcare business while I was in Jr. When I wasn't helping with her daycare, I was babysitting kids on the weekend. I fel

t honored being so young, that people trusted me with their kids. I was the BEST babysitter ever! It was then that I knew I was destined to work in the childcare field as a provider/teacher. I babysat children throughout high school, and even after I graduated in 2000. I worked for Children's World Learning Center for 3 years while attending college as an ECE major.
2 years into my studies, I fell into dentistry (my second love), and became a registered dental assistant where I graduated at the top of my class. For 9 years, I assisted the most amazing dentist. I was always excited when children came into our practice. I felt my calling was to work with children because I'm happiest when I am around them. Although I will miss working in the dental office, I am eager to incorporate healthy oral hygiene into my curriculum. I hope you all enjoyed my story, and help me make this world a better place...
