At approx 1225 this afternoon, Engine 4 responded with Rescue 1 and Engine 3 to Rt 80 West just past exit 63 for a vehicle off the roadway, down an embankment, and close to the river. The driver was transported to the hospital to be checked. A member from Rescue 1 was lowered down to the vehicle to secure the battery. Great job by all on scene.
