If you have a screen over your vent you're playing with fire. Not only is it against current codes, it creates ongoing maintenance that is dangerous if ignored. Once the screen clogs with lint which happens pretty quick nothing gets out. Lint gets pushed into places it shouldn't be. Water v***r is trapped allowing water to form in your duct and leak out the seams. This can also lead to mold like shown below. Even worse, if your dryer is gas Carbon Monoxide is also trapped and pumped back into areas inside the home.

What's the inside of your dryer look like? This was a dryer and vent from earlier this week. If you're experiencing:

- slow dry times

Wow. Was cleaning a dryer vent today and noticed there was a lil bit of a gas smell. Customer wasn't able to smell it in front of the machine but once you got behind it whoa! Did a lil bubble test and yup, leaking alright. Glad we got that tightened up as well you never know...
