A new addition has arrived, and our hearts are full 💙🧡

Family has always been the foundation of Remedy Electric, and welcoming our newest little one makes this season even more special. Big brother is already stepping into his new role with lots of curiosity and love 😊

We appreciate all of our customers for supporting a family-owned business and allowing us to continue serving our community while our family grows. Mom and baby are healthy, happy, and doing great!

I'll be taking a few days away from work and will be out until next week to spend some time with my family and help everyone settle in. Thank you all for the support, encouragement, and patience during this exciting time for our family.

A little life update from our family 💛

We’re getting ready to welcome another baby soon, which is incredibly exciting, but it also means things will be slowing down for a bit on our end.

If you’ve been thinking about booking in any electrical work, now would be a really good time to get on the schedule. Over the next little while, availability will be more limited as we focus on family and adjust to the new addition.

As always, we truly appreciate the support, patience, and trust from everyone who reaches out to us. It means a lot to our growing family.

Feel free to call if you’ve been planning something we’ll do our best to get you taken care of before things get busy! 👶⚡

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what “home” really means especially when it comes to safety and reliability for our families.

Power outages aren’t something we plan for, but they can affect everything in an instant. From keeping the house warm or cool, to making sure food stays safe, to simply having the lights on electricity plays a huge role in our day-to-day comfort and security.

Upgrading your electrical service is one way to make sure your home can safely handle the demands of modern living. With more devices, appliances, and technology than ever before, having the right capacity helps reduce the risk of overloads and keeps everything running smoothly.

A whole home generator is another layer of protection. When the power goes out, life doesn’t have to come to a halt. It helps keep essential systems running, which can make a big difference especially for families with young kids or anyone who depends on consistent heating, cooling, or power.

For me, it really comes down to peace of mind. Knowing your home is prepared means one less thing to worry about when it matters most.

Curious how others handle outages or prepare their homes? I’d love to hear your thoughts 👇

Spring storms can knock the power out when you least expect it.⛈️

🚨 Flooding isn’t just water damage… it can be deadly. 🚨

If your basement is taking on water and your electrical panel is down there, you could be one bad decision away from serious injury.

⚠️ READ THIS BEFORE YOU TOUCH ANYTHING:
If water is in or around your panel…
DO NOT go down there and try to shut the power off.

⚠️ Water is EXTREMELY conductive. 💧⚡️😵
You may not see the danger...but it’s there.

✔️ The ONLY safe way to shut power off in a situation like this is from an outside disconnect.

❌ No disconnect outside?
Then you’re stuck choosing between leaving power on in a flooded space… or risking your safety to shut it off.

That’s not a position anyone should be in.

💡 If you’ve had water in or around your panel, or fuse box don’t guess get it checked.
Even if everything “looks fine,” hidden damage can lead to problems later on.
We can come out and make sure your system is actually safe.

And if your home isn’t equipped for this:
A service replacement can give you:
🔌 A safe outdoor shutoff when you need it most
🔌 Updated equipment that won’t fail under pressure
🔌 Real protection during storms and flooding

Storms like this are unpredictable… but your electrical safety shouldn’t be.

Last night in Saginaw was a reminder… ⚡🌪️
These storms aren’t playing around anymore.

With severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and even tornado warnings moving through Mid-Michigan overnight, a lot of families were left hoping the power stayed on.

But hope isn’t a backup plan.

Heading into summer storm season, now is the time to think about a whole-home generator ⚡
Because when the power goes out… your home doesn’t have to.

✅ Keep your lights on
✅ Protect your food & appliances
✅ Stay comfortable while everyone else is in the dark

At Remedy Electric, we install generators the RIGHT way... safe, reliable, and ready when you need it most.

Don’t wait until the next storm rolls through… because we all know it will.

After Easter weekend, seeing so many kids surrounded by family was a powerful reminder, they’re counting on us to keep them safe every single day.

Hidden electrical issues don’t give warnings. Old services and improper work can put your home at real risk for fires and shocks when you least expect it. Don’t wait until something goes wrong.

Service replacements should always be handled by a Master Electrician, not someone offering shortcuts that could cost you everything.

As a family-owned business, this hits close to home. We’re expecting another child soon, and it’s made us double down on what matters most: a safe home for our family and yours.

We treat every home like it’s our own because we know what’s at stake. ❤️

⚡ Don’t take chances with your family’s safety.
