It was great to spend today with leaders from across our entire company!

Leadership meetings like this are about more than presentations. They're an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and align on how we can better serve our customers, support our associates, and continue moving our business forward.

We're only halfway through the event, but the energy, engagement, and collaboration have already made it a valuable experience! Looking forward to another day of great conversations and shared learning tomorrow.

Standard Electric is proud to help bring the Bright Lights Brighter Futures program to Borley-Hanel Post 3033 in Mount Pleasant, MI this year in celebration of America’s 250th!

This project is part Sonepar’s nationwide effort to complete 14 LED lighting upgrades at Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW posts this year. Thank you to everyone who voted for their local VFW posts and helped us identify the best recipient for this upgrade.

At Borley-Hanel, the upgrade will replace outdated fluorescent lighting with new LED fixtures, helping create a brighter, more welcoming space for veterans and families. The new lighting is also designed to help reduce energy use and lower utility costs, allowing the VFW to put more resources toward its core mission.

We’re grateful to Cooper Lighting Solutions for donating lighting fixtures and materials, PSG ENERGY SERVICES for installation, and TerraCycle for providing recycling services for the old lamps.

Thank you again to everyone who participated and supports our veteran communities! We’re honored to support a space that means so much to local veterans and the community around them.

It’s time to vote! Help us choose a local Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW post to receive a free lighting upgrade with support from our partners Cooper Lighting Solutions and PSG ENERGY SERVICES.

At VFW posts, veterans come together for camaraderie and connection. By modernizing outdated lighting, we can make these community spaces more comfortable and more energy efficient, helping the local VFW put more money into their mission and less into their energy bill.

We are excited to welcome our 2026–2027 Sonepar USA Training for Emerging Professionals (STEP) class!

Over the next 12 months, these associates will gain hands-on experience and industry knowledge while working alongside us. We’re looking forward to having these talented individuals join our team and begin their journey at Standard Electric.
