Good company, crisp fall air, and a space that feels close to home. 🍂

Last Friday, our firm gathered at Dow Gardens in Midland for some team bonding, including a tour of their beautiful new Welcome Center. We hiked the property together, soaked in the gorgeous fall scenery, and immersed ourselves in the space we designed.

We love creating environments that bring people together. As the leaves change and the colors burst, we encourage your visit to this fabulous landmark – you won’t be disappointed!

Five years of creativity, collaboration, and beautiful spaces! 🛋️✨

We’re celebrating Amanda Doerr (left) and Megan Thomas (right) and the five years that they've spent making WTA a more thoughtful, creative, and welcoming place. Their warmth and attention to detail can be felt not only in the spaces they design, but also in the relationships they nurture.

Amanda and Megan, thank you for sharing your talents, creativity, and personalities with us over the last five years. We’re blessed to have you as part of the WTA team and can’t wait to see what you create next! 💙

Indigenous Peoples’ Day recognizes the history, resilience, culture, and contributions of Indigenous communities. Here in mid-Michigan, our team had the honor of incorporating the culture and values of the Anishinaabe people into the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College . 📚

Collaborating with the college, we transformed an empty building into a place that supports education, community, and a strong sense of belonging. Today, we recognize our partners at Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College and the broader Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.

Thank you for trusting us with this project, and for helping us create a space rooted in Anishinaabe culture.

Your local community connection! 🤝

This morning Bruce Martin, our Business Development Director, and Abbey Collins, our Marketing Coordinator, attended the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce's October Eye-Opener Breakfast.

We believe in building relationships and having a presence in the communities we live, work, and play.

Fall into a flat lay. 🍂🍁A flat lay gives an overhead view of design components paired together. It helps to tell a space's story. This season is full of earth tones and our interior designers are feeling inspired. Do you see the seasonal elegance: a luxurious palette inspired by autumn foliage and golden harvest light?

Stretch your space's potential. ✨When our team designs a flexible space, we consider if the client would benefit from floor-to-ceiling folding panel partitions. Partitions are often used to define areas.

At Midland's new Dow Gardens Welcome Center, these flexible partitions are used to divide the Garden Rooms, creating privacy and allowing multiple groups to occupy the area.
