St. Albans Chamber President Jared Page joined SAHS Principal, Dr. Jerrica Stingo, and other City of St. Albans, WV leaders for the dedication of the medallion of the old SAJH / SAHS in front of the current school.

The Chamber thanks Mayor Scott James, Patty Swango, Rodney D Loftis II, and all others that worked to make this possible. This is a great way for citizens and students to honor the past.

The City of St. Albans is heartbroken by the passing of John “Johnboy” Johnson, Director of our Public Works Department.

For more than 30 years, Johnboy served our city and its residents with dedication, kindness, and a generous spirit. His hard work reached far beyond the responsibilities of his position. He was a trusted colleague, a friend to many, and a true Red Dragon who cared deeply about this community.

We extend our deepest condolences to Johnboy’s family, friends, and our brothers and sisters in the Public Works Department.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve this tremendous loss.

Johnboy’s service and the impact he made on St. Albans will not be forgotten.
