Last week Jordan Bielefeld, our VP, had the opportunity again this year to attend the ACP Operations, Maintenance & Safety Conference (OMS 2026) in Orlando — joining more than 1,600 professionals from across the renewable energy industry focused on one common goal:
How do we continue improving the way wind assets are operated, maintained, and supported in the field?
The conversations around safety leadership, technician development, operational efficiency, and long-term asset performance were excellent. It’s always encouraging to see how many organizations are committed to pushing the industry forward.
At UpTower (www.uptower.com) those same priorities guide the work we do every day.
Over the past year our team has grown significantly, closing out the year with 70 traveling wind technicians supporting projects across the United States. Our crews are working directly with:
• Utilities and asset owners
• Independent service providers (ISPs)
• O&M providers
• Repower and major corrective projects
• Turnkey service scopes
• Supplemental labor and technical expertise when additional capacity is needed
Our focus has always been simple:
Provide highly capable technicians, deliver quality work, and operate safely while helping our partners keep their fleets running.
The demand for skilled technicians and reliable field support continues to grow across the industry, and it’s exciting to see how many organizations are investing in improving how renewable assets are maintained long term.
If we connected at OMS, it was great meeting you and having those conversations.
And if we didn’t get the opportunity to connect while in Orlando, I’d welcome the chance to continue the discussion.
Whether you're an owner, operator, ISP, or O&M provider, if you’re exploring ways to strengthen your technician support, project ex*****on, or field capabilities management and myself here at UpTower would be glad to be part of the conversation.
The wind industry continues to grow quickly, and strong partnerships between owners, operators, and service providers will be critical to supporting that growth.
Looking forward to connecting with more of you across the industry.
