The Story Behind the Name...

My last name, Corbett, is an Irish name that evolved from a French word (corbeau), meaning “raven”. I've always felt a special kinship with ravens, and finding out the meaning of the name reinforced this affinity. “Third Raven” came about when I was out walking for inspiration and approached a tree with three ravens. Two flew away, but the third stayed, and even follo

wed me on the continuation of my walk for a distance before wheeling off to join his posse and carry on their raven-business.
