Here is a sample of each type of leather we carry, moving left to right it is deer, elk, moose, bison, and cow. The majority of what we stock is 3-4 Oz, however we also have some heavy leather ranging from 5-8 Oz.

First start with Brunello Deer. It is 2.5-4Oz thickness, ~8-10 sq ft on average and great for moccasins, gloves, patches, fringe etc.

Next we have To***co Elk. Elk is typically 3-4 Oz thickness, averages approximately 20 sq ft and is great for making chaps, coats, vests, slippers, wallets etc.

Next is Chili Red Moose. Moose is very similar to elk however it is more known for being a luxurious leather.
Moose is around 3-4 Oz thickness and 15 sq ft halves (we only carry moose in halves not full hides). Moose is also very soft to the touch while being very durable! It is great for anything that your mind can come up with, it’s very versatile.

Next we have Navy Bison. Bison 3-4 Oz thickness and averages ~18 sq ft. Bison is great for boots, accessories, straps, heavy vests etc.

Last but not least, we have variety thicknesses between 2 Oz to 8 Oz. Our cow hides are typically large, between 20 sq ft to 50 sq ft. Thin cow is malleable and good for various things meanwhile the thicker cow like latigo (not featured) is great for armors and different things that require a sturdier leather.
