Just when we think we've seen it all! Today we are working on equipment used in a process we have not encountered before... centrifugal metal casting. While we've appraised dozens of metal casting operations including sand casting, investment casting, die casting, etc., this is a first.
Centrifugal metal casting is used to make pipes, bushings, gear blanks, and similar cast parts.
This is one reason we love our job - we encounter processes that are fascinating and allow us to expand our knowledge.
