Minnesota Lifestyle Solutions is a worker-owned cooperative that operates to benefit and support its worker/owners under Minnesota State Statute, Chapter 308A. Our worker/owners will provide Individualized Home Support (IHS) services to qualified individuals within our community under Minnesota State Statute, Chapter 245D (Home & Community Based Services), Minnesota State Rule, Chapter 9544 (Posit

ive Supports Rule). We are licensed through the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services in order to provide this intensive service to our community members that qualify for home and community-based services along with individuals with mental illness, individuals with brain injuries, individuals with physical illness, along with serving our senior citizens. By providing this service our workers will help build up our cooperative's value, which will ensure that the cooperative becomes solvent. Once solvency is reached the continued increase of time and work invested in services for each client will ensure that our workers are able to receive both a fair-wage for their time worked, along with an eventual dividend to ensure that each worker/owner receives adequate compensation for their own personal investment of time worked and services rendered. Ensuring fair wages for our workers along with the distribution of value will not only ensure that our workers feel adequately supported, but will in turn help drive our local economy and community by allowing for profit distribution to be spread out and used within our community.
