Happy New Year. We're going to try to help our members with free best practices for lawn and landscape management practices. We will be sharing tips and tricks to help make your lawn and landscape the envy of the block.
We will be sharing gardening tips as well. The gardening tips will help you to start a garden and grow some of your own food. This is an effort to help our members to live healthy and reduce the application of pesticides and herbicides. We're asking that you share the tips with others. I hope to share tips weekly.

If you see landscapers, lawn services and other people blowing leaves cuttings from grass or plants into the streets either respectfully tell them that it is a bad practice and in lots of areas illegal. If you don't feel comfortable report it to the city or county agency that deals with drainage. Stopped up drains cause flooding.
