A Special Note from Your Team at Action Auction-
We truly appreciate the amazing support, friendships and love from all of our ‘new’ and ‘old’ customers.
The many auctions we have shared with you have brought forth
Bittersweet memories, many surprises, new friendships and a bond with the J'Sisters like no other.
With so much time spent together,
Not only have Jackie, Janelle and Jasper(the Golden Girl) bonded beyond bonds,
We have also come to realize that we are who we are,
Not only because of relationships created with you, our customers,
But because of the relationship we shared with our late Boss Suzie...
The boss that most could only have wished for!
Suzie's journey on this earth ended peacefully as she slept...January 17, 2025.
As her obituary says, 'leaving us in shock, yet awe'.
If Suzie was there...
Every day was a 'Great' day!
Every joke made or prank played, was followed with one better than the last.
Every chance meeting/conversing, was with sincere gratitude.
If Suzie was there…
Every light in the place was on and the heat turned up.
Every soul in the room knew, as Suzie’s presence was 'bigger than life' itself.
Every smile shown was contagious and definitely wider than her eyes.
While Suzie no longer walks this earth in her tiny size-6 sneakers...
Every time the door opens, I hope for Suzie.
Every time the phone rings, I hear Suzie's voice.
Every time I see a 'sh*tty brown' truck go by,
I think of Suzie behind the wheel jamming to her fav Janet Jackson tune.
Every time I hear the words ‘thank you' as she so often said,
I think of how grateful Suzie was for life and everything that surrounded her in that life.
Although, leaving this world at a young sixty-four, yet…
Seemingly-aged twenty-four, but…
Had a circle of friends as if she were one-hundred and four,
Suzie had created a world of love all around her.
Bonding with everyone 'young and old' she’d meet,
Bonding with everything she treasured 'old and new',
Bonding with the hearts of every living creature,
Standing before her ‘tiny little feet’.
Suzie had what most wish they had if/when given a full lifetime, A…
Truly close-knit loving family/extended family, with…
Lasting friendships, and…
Everlasting compassion and empathy for all she knew, plus…
A true 'Heart of Gold' for the less fortunate too.
If Suzie were here…
I’d tell here I love her,
Even after she had teased me for being late, yet again!
I’d remind her that the Shop would benefit from having an ‘intake manager’
Because there is never enough time in a day, week, month or even a year
To get caught up with moving the inventory out as fast as she would ‘take-it-in’!
I’d tell her, “Yes, I will see you tomorrow” when she would ask, before leaving each day.
Although Suzie is no longer here…Her Spirit will be with us always.
I’m Gonna Miss That Smile, I’m Gonna Miss You My Friend.
RIP Suzie...you were loved more than you knew.
For that...This One’s Gonna Hurt for a Long, Long Time...
