Check out this photo of Jane Tune. A lady got in touch with me thru Ancestry.com. She buys old photographs at antique stores and then searches to see if she can find a family member. On the back of the photo is Jane Tune; December 7, 1952. She found Jane’s information in my family genealogy, contacted me and mailed the photo to me at no cost to me. I had a photo in my family history of Jane at a much later date than this and she felt the smiles matched! This is some pretty awesome detective work!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Nancy’s brother passed away January 7, 2023. Michael Smith, had a massive heart attack in his yard and passed away immediately. He leaves wife Shannon and only child Ashton Marie. Michael was 55 years young. Michael was Superintendent at Beardstown, IL . He started his career coaching and teaching at Oakland, IL. He attended St. Elmo,Schools and attended Greenville College and Eastern, IL College. Michael never met a stranger and no doubt will be missed. There will be no Funeral or Memorial at his request. He is survived by his wife and daughter, parents Neil and Barbara Smith of St. Elmo, IL, his sister, Nancy Mills (Larry Worman), her daughters, Heather Mills of Crest Hill and Lindsey Mills (Seth Yager) of Dieterich and Sister, Cathy (Curt) Strange of Freelandville, Indiana and their daughter, Cassidy Strange of Vincennes, Indiana.
