Helping someone sort through Medicare choices for 2027? There’s one piece that deserves more attention: their medications. 💊
I’ve spent years teaching people that choosing Medicare drug coverage involves more than plugging a medication list into a plan finder and picking the lowest price.
This year, I’m putting my pharmacist background to work in a new way.
I’m now offering a Pharmacist-Led Medicare Drug Coverage Review for 2027.
I look at the person’s medications, the health conditions they’re treating, pharmacy preferences, formulary and coverage issues, costs, and health or medication changes that could affect what they need next year.
For someone with a stand-alone Part D plan, I identify three strong plan options to consider.
For someone whose drug coverage is included in a Medicare Advantage plan, I review the medication side of their coverage and identify issues to consider as they evaluate their Medicare Advantage options.
The review includes a written summary of my findings and a brief consultation with me to talk through the results and questions.

I don’t sell Medicare plans or handle enrollment. I’m the pharmacist looking at the medication side of the decision so the individual—and the people helping them—can make a more informed choice for 2027.
