A big thank you to SUHBA for putting on a great Careers in Construction Day at Career Tech High School!

7th graders from schools across Washington County came together to learn more about the many opportunities available in the construction industry. Events like this give students a chance to see that construction is about much more than just building houses. There are careers in framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, concrete, design, and our favorite... excavation!

The next generation of construction tradespeople is going to play an important role in the future of Southern Utah. Introducing young people to these careers early can help them see the skills, opportunities and rewarding work that come with the trades.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the day possible and invested in the future of our local workforce!
