Rombauer Vineyards Founded in 1980, Napa Valley's Rombauer Vineyards is winery known for its delicious wine and Joyful Moments. Our St. to 5 p.m. daily. Helena, CA.

Our winery was established by Koerner and Joan Rombauer, whose appreciation for The Joy of Wine and the pleasure it brings to family and friends stems from Koerner’s great aunt, Irma Rombauer, author of the internationally-renowned Joy of Cooking. Our family continually seeks out the finest vineyard sites for each varietal we farm, and the quality and character of our wines reflect an embrace of traditional and cutting-edge practices both in the winery and in our sustainably farmed vineyards. As our family’s second and third generations continue to carry out the vision of Koerner and Joan, we’re proud to produce critically acclaimed Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. Helena winery, set high on a tree-covered knoll just off Silverado Trail, features a lovely porch with stunning views of the Mayacamas Mountains, a garden with over 100 varieties of plants, whimsical works of art collected by Koerner Rombauer and wine caves. Fleet Week is here, and one of our favorite annual traditions is welcoming the Blue Angels to the w**ery. Their visit ties back to our founder, Koerner Rombauer, whose history as an F-86 fighter pilot in the California Air National Guard helped inspire our enduring appreciation for aviation, service, and, of course, blue. 💙✈️

For your next Rombauer Hour: dip, sip, repeat.
Blistered shish*tos with a zesty lemon aioli, and a crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc.

8 oz shish*to peppers
1 tbsp neutral oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 garlic clove, grated
½ cup mayo
½ tsp soy sauce
Flaky sea salt

Whisk the mayo, grated garlic, 1 tbsp lemon juice, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until smooth and glossy.
Heat the oil in a heavy cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking. Add the peppers in a single layer.
Cook undisturbed for 2 to 3 minutes, until deeply charred on the bottom. Toss and cook 1 to 2 minutes more, until softened and blistered.
Transfer to a serving dish, shower with flaky sea salt and lemon zest, and serve hot with the aioli and a chilled glass of Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc.
