Meet Lexi & Tucker- the newest members on the Titus Team as 2026 harvest interns. ⭐️
1. What inspired you to pursue a career in w**e? Is this your first harvest?
T. This is my first harvest! Growing up in Napa, I’ve always had exposure to the w**e industry. After working in tasting rooms, I’ve been inspired to work more closely with the w**emaking process!
L. This will be my second harvest! I was inspired to peruse w**e when I took my first w**e class in culinary school and fell in love with the subject.
2. What’s been the biggest cultural difference you’ve noticed since arriving in Napa Valley?
T. Growing up in Napa, I’ve always loved the culture here. Home sweet home!
L. The beach days here have been the biggest culture shock! I was not prepared for how much the temperature drops right by the coast.
3. What excites you most about working harvest in California?
T. The weather, especially in Napa. Cool nights, and warmer days are the best, and just so happens to make great w**e in the process!
L. I love the nature out here in California, with so many different microclimates you can always explore and learn something new.
4.Do you have a favorite varietal you’re most excited to work at Titus?
T. Merlot! It’s not grown as much as many of the other common varietals here!
L. I am most excited to work with the Viognier. I haven’t worked with this varietal yet; I am looking forward to the differences in production.
5. If you had to pair your personality with a w**e varietal, which one would it be and why?
T. Sryah! Big bold, and intense w**e that pairs well with my favorite food: Steak!
L. I think my personality is the most like Blaufrankisch. This grape can be super versatile; it can be lighter and bright or lean on the heavier savory more mellow side (like me in the mornings). It also plays well with food like me with my culinary background.
