Ironically our last pick on the Hayne this year was for Zinfandel Rosé that were pressing from the secondary crop. Given the erratic weather patterns this Spring, these clusters developed much later and slower than the primary clusters we picked several weeks ago. We definitely won't be making much but promise it will be pink and delicious!

Happy from the Historic Hayne Vineyard! Purchased by William Bowers Bourn and Sarah Esther Vhase in 1872, it was replanted around 1903 and has remained in the family for over 5 generations! We are ever-amazed at the deep character and extraordinary quality of the fruit and w**es after all these years. As Joe Czerwinski recently noted in the W**e Advocate, 'Guven the pedigree of the site and vines, it represents one of the few modern-day chances to taste Napa's past.'
