Welcome, September 🍇

We love this month for so many reasons: harvest is in full swing, the vineyards are in their final stretch, the light is softer, the temperatures are cooler, and the evenings are cozier.

And this year, with harvest arriving exceptionally early, we may see the final grapes come in before September comes to a close.

Today we began sampling grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) at the Profile Estate, measuring Brix, acidity, and pH as we closely follow their progression toward maturity.

These numbers give us valuable insight as we begin to anticipate harvest. But ultimately, the vineyard will tell us when it's time, through the taste of the grapes themselves 🍇
