Team meeting at Somerston Estate 🍇🥂

We got a harvest update from Winemaker, Cody Hurd, and Director of Vineyard Operations, Jake Knobloch.

Harvest is moving smoothly as we reach the halfway point, with 95+ acres and 250+ tons of grapes harvested so far. Crop quality is excellent, and the lighter yield has allowed for ideal ripening. Between picks, our vineyard team is focused on soil health, cover crops, and winterization as we prepare to bring in the rest of the fruit over the next few weeks.

Plenty of work still ahead, but there’s a lot to be excited about as the 2026 vintage continues to take shape. 🍷

An evening under the stars at Somerston Estate. ✨🍷

Join us October 10th as we unveil the NEW Somerston label and celebrate the RELEASE of our 2023 red w**e. The evening begins with a relaxed reception featuring Somerston Estate w**es and bites from Chef Cameron before we make our way to the patio for stargazing beneath the new moon.

With two astronomers guiding us through the night sky and a telescope available to explore the stars above, this will be an unforgettable evening where w**e, food, land, and the cosmos come together.

Transportation is included, with shuttle service departing Priest Ranch Tasting Room at 6 PM and returning around 9 PM.
