Blue Oasis Wines Blue Oasis Wines is a winery created by Kate Jones. The wines come from coastal fruit. The "Blue" also comes from the region which her grapes grow.

The first varietal was from Monterey County and since then I have been sourcing from Mendocino County. Kate Jones chose Blue Oasis Wines as the name of her brand because the ocean is her (as well as many others) Oasis. Monterey bay, also known as the "Blue Canyon" is deeper and wider than the Grand Canyon. The current vintage was produced by grapes from Mendocino County (designated by Docker Hill

and Costa Vineyards respectively). The proximity to the ocean yields optimal growing conditions for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
