🚨 Concrete Sealer PSA 🚨
See all that white peeling and streaking?
That’s what can happen when a film-forming acrylic sealer is applied to broom-finished concrete and then exposed to weather, traffic, and routine pressure washing.
The sealer sits on top of the concrete instead of soaking into it. Over time it begins to wear unevenly, peel, and leave behind a patchy mess that often requires costly stripping or restoration.
For standard broom-finished driveways and sidewalks, a penetrating siloxane or silane sealer is usually the better choice. It penetrates into the concrete, helps protect against water and salt intrusion, and won’t peel off because there’s no surface film.
✅ No peeling
✅ No flaking
✅ Natural appearance
✅ Protection from water and salt damage
Just because a sealer makes concrete shiny doesn’t mean it’s the right sealer.
Use the right product for the right surface. Let’s seal the deal. 👊
