PUBLIC NOTICE:
After careful consideration, the St. Johns Lions Club Recycling Center will PERMANENTLY CLOSE on June 19, 2026. This decision was not made lightly but was necessary due to declining markets for the recyclables, rising costs, and modest donations. We are deeply grateful for the support of our customers and community over the years. We are committed to assisting our customers have access to alternative services. Note: The St. Johns Lions Club will continue to have a collection box for eyeglasses and hearing aids at the facility and at other locations around the city.

To the person that left their cardboard outside Friday, we were closed because of the cold, our equipment cannot handle these conditions. We do not want anyone leaving things when we are closed, there are signs saying that. If we get snow, and the plow truck comes it's in their way, or the wind blows it down the street that's not good. Please everybody, don't leave products when we are closed. P. S. Your name and address is on all the boxes, we will be in touch.

The Recycling Center will be closed Friday January 23. The cold weather is hard on the hydraulic systems on our bailers. We will reopen Monday at 8am.

The Recycling Center will close at Noon on Wednesday December 31, and open 9AM on Friday January 2nd.

Please, separate your plastic and make sure everything is washed out.
Lids must be removed and thrown in the trash, they are not recyclable.

The Recycling Center will be closed Monday May 26th for Memorial Day, and will open Tuesday at 8am

We are getting to much garage, please help us. No fast food cups, no Tupperware, no vegetable or fruit containers, #1 and #2 plastics only. All items must be cleaned, and lids removed and put in trash.
