They see the finished project, the growing team, the new location, the successful year, or the social media highlights.

What they don’t see are the sacrifices, the risks, the long hours, the difficult decisions, the sleepless nights, the setbacks, and the constant responsibility that comes with leading a business.

The truth is, most of what keeps a business running happens beneath the surface.

In rural communities especially, small businesses are more than commerce. They are jobs, relationships, innovation, tradition, and local impact working together.

Here at our own small business, we’re grateful to support the backend infrastructure that helps businesses navigate growth, challenges, operations, and opportunity so they can continue doing what they do best. We celebrate small businesses 365 days a year around here, but this week we pause to recognize and appreciate everything they add to the fabric of our communities.

Another tax season is officially in the books, and we couldn’t do it without an incredible team behind the scenes and amazing clients who trust us year after year. A BIG shout out to Chrissy, for her dedication to our hundreds of tax clients! 💚

Cheers to 3️⃣ years! 🌱🎂

Today marks 3 years in business for Momentum Business Solutions, LLP.

What started out as a vision between two friends, Chrissy Houghton and Brooke Pierce, has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. We had a pipe dream, but we knew it was more of a calling.

Over the past three years, we have navigated long days, hard seasons, and moments that truly tested us. There were times it would have been easier to step back, but instead, we leaned in. We kept showing up. Not just for the business, but for our clients, our team, and our community.

We are proud to be a woman owned and operated company built on trust, resilience, and real relationships.

This has never just been about bookkeeping or taxes. It is about people. It is about helping others understand their business, feel confident in it, and know they have someone in their corner. It’s about making our communities stronger by supporting the people who help make them thrive.

We have built a culture rooted in support, shared knowledge, and genuine care for the people we serve. We believe in pouring into our clients and employees, and creating a space where people feel valued, understood, and supported.

The dream that started this is still very much alive, and the drive behind it continues to grow.
