🚨 ZOOM SCAM ALERT 🚨
Our Marketing Director was recently contacted by someone asking to schedule a Zoom meeting. The meeting link repeatedly redirected her to a page telling her to download Zoom again—even though Zoom was already installed.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING.
Thankfully, she recognized the warning signs and immediately deleted everything. If this happens to you:
⚠️ Close the page immediately.
⚠️ Do not download or install anything.
⚠️ Do not enter your login information.
⚠️ Report the suspicious link to Zoom.
Scammers are becoming increasingly convincing. Always verify the sender and access meetings through the official Zoom app or website.
Please share this warning—it could save someone from having their information or computer compromised.

Tell us below what scams you have come across. It helps other businesses to be aware.

What AI Can't Do When Your Systems Go Down

It's 4 a.m., and a critical alert has just jolted you awake. Something important is offline.

The AI monitoring platform you invested in spotted the issue quickly and did exactly what it was supposed to do. But the real question is what happens after the alert. That's where many businesses are still exposed.

Today's monitoring tools are excellent at detecting unusual activity, identifying problems early, and notifying the right people fast. What they cannot do is restore lost data, rebuild damaged systems, or get your team operational again.

That's why a proven recovery plan matters. An alert tells you there's a problem, but your ability to bounce back depends on the safeguards you already have in place.

Detection and recovery are different challenges

Downtime Doesn't Just Cost Money. It Costs Trust.

Downtime costs more than lost time—it can quietly erode revenue, confidence, and future business opportunities.

To your team, an outage is a technical issue with a clear fix and timeline. To your customers, it can feel like your business vanished when they needed it most. That experience often leaves a lasting impression.

Even after your systems are restored, the concern may remain.

Here's how downtime impacts customer relationships, brand perception, and long-term growth—and why true recovery goes well beyond the technology.

Customers begin to question your reliability
Customers expect your business to be there when they need it. That expectation shapes every interaction, from logging in to asking for support or waiting for a response.

When access disappears, so does confidence. What seems like a short disruption internally can feel like a bigger warning sign to customers.

That change in perception affects the entire experience. Delays feel more frustrating, responses seem slower, and even minor issues can start to matter more.

6 Questions Smart Companies Ask Their IT Provider Every Quarter

If the only time you speak with your IT provider is at contract renewal, your business is missing a major opportunity.

Technology is never static. It changes fast, and the risks tied to it change just as quickly. That's why quarterly IT reviews matter if you want to keep your company secure, efficient, and competitive.

But there's a catch: most business owners don't know what to ask.

So here's a practical guide. These are the questions your IT provider should be able to answer every quarter clearly, directly, and without jargon.

Think Your Cloud Data Is Safe? Think Again

Many organizations rely on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and assume that built-in cloud storage is enough to keep their data safe. It isn't.

Cloud platforms keep your team connected, collaborative, and productive. But being connected is not the same as being protected. If a file is deleted, overwritten, or encrypted by ransomware, your cloud platform is not built to restore it for you. That responsibility is yours.

This is the reality of shared responsibility. Your provider maintains the platform and secures the infrastructure, while protecting and recovering your data is up to you.

Most businesses face more cloud-based risks than they expect. Here's what you need to plan for.

Here are 5 risks that can disrupt cloud data: https://tsconard.com/blog/think-your-cloud-data-is-safe-think-again
