She'd been passed over for promotion. Again.

The feedback was always some version of the same thing: your executive presence isn't there.

Nobody explained what that meant. Nobody told her what to do differently on Monday morning. She just kept not getting the job.

Then she came to Vanessa Wasche's bootcamp. Then she got the promotion.

Sound familiar?

If you've ever left a meeting knowing it didn't land the way you wanted, caught yourself saying "that's a good question" while your brain scrambled to catch up, or been told your communication needs work without anyone actually telling you how to fix it — September 17 is worth your day.

Vanessa Wasche of On Point Speaking is coming to Minneapolis. One full day, in person at the West End Conference Center. No preparation required. You will practice during the class.

You'll leave knowing how to answer tough questions without stalling, how to get to the point without losing people on the way there, and how to manage the nerves that show up right before you open your mouth.

Early bird pricing is $799, down from the regular $899, with ten seats available at that rate. Lunch is included.

You know what most people do when they disagree in a meeting?
They smile and nod.
That's just what we do. In Minnesota especially.
The problem is you leave the room thinking everyone's aligned. They're not. They're just tired and polite.
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® fixes that — not by making people braver, but by giving them something to point to instead of having to say it.
August 7–10. Minneapolis. Robert Rasmussen teaching it. 60% full class. Held at the West End Conference Center. In Person.
Have you ever left a meeting thinking everyone agreed — and found out later they absolutely did not?

12 people. Same 6 bricks. Same question.
Not one model looked the same.
As the facilitator, you're not watching an art project. You're reading 12 people's actual mental models — made visible in 90 seconds — before a single word of discussion happens.
That's the kind of power in a room that Robert Rasmussen teaches. He built the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method, and this August he's training 12 facilitators in Minneapolis. Four days. 8 seats left.
What's the hardest read you've ever had to make in a room?

03/05/2026

Nobody in your meeting is on the same page. Not even close.

We assume they are because everyone nodded. Everyone said yes. But that's not agreement — that's people being tired.

Here's what changes when you hand 12 people the same 6 LEGO® bricks and ask them to build how they feel about an upcoming change:
You stop assuming. You start seeing.

Angela Johnson built a duck.
Ears perked up. Feet moving below the waterline. Still pushing forward even when the surface looks calm.

That was her mental model of what it feels like to keep going in the middle of a transformation. Took her about 90 seconds to build it. Took everyone at the table about 90 seconds to understand her in a way a status update never would have.

Nobody else at the table built anything like it.
Same bricks. Twelve people. Zero identical models.

That's not a team-building exercise. That's what it actually looks like when everyone in the room finally gets to say something true.

Robert Rasmussen — the man who developed the LEGO® Serious Play® method — is coming to Minneapolis this August. Angela is hosting a four-day facilitator certification. Seats are limited. Details in the comments.

Something I've never forgotten from a facilitation session years ago:
A room full of senior leaders. Suits. Big company. The facilitator put LEGO bricks on the table and asked everyone to build something that represented their team's biggest obstacle.
One guy — VP level, clearly skeptical — built a wall. Literally just a wall. Then he sat back and stared at it for a long time.
Twenty minutes later he was still talking about what that wall meant. The conversation that followed changed the direction of that team.
That's what LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® does when it's facilitated properly.
This August, Robert Rasmussen — the person who actually developed the LSP method — is coming to West End Conference Center in Minneapolis to certify a small group of facilitators. 12 people. 4 days. August 7-10, 2026.
If you work in facilitation, HR, coaching, consulting, or Agile and you've ever wondered whether LSP is worth learning — this is the rare chance to learn it from the source.
Have you ever been in a session where an unexpected exercise completely changed the room? What happened?

Most team meetings generate heat but not light. Everyone nods.

The same three people talk. Nothing actually changes.

LEGO® Serious Play® works differently — and the neuroscience backs it up.

When people build with their hands, they access thinking that talking alone doesn't reach: visual, tactile, and emotional intelligence all firing at once. Hidden assumptions surface. Quiet voices get heard. Teams leave with real alignment instead of polite agreement.

But here's the thing: the results are only as good as the facilitator.

That's why we're bringing Robert Rasmussen — the original developer of the LEGO® Serious Play® method — to Minneapolis this August for a 4-day Facilitator Foundation Training (Aug 7–10, 2026) at the West End Conference Center.

This is a highly experiential, hands-on certification, limited to 12 participants, so it's genuinely intimate and directly transferable to real workshop situations.

Who should attend? Coaches, facilitators, HR professionals, consultants, project managers, trainers, and organizational leaders who want a methodology that actually changes how teams think — not just how they talk.

Early-bird pricing. Only 8 spots remaining.

Your Scrum certification didn't prepare you for this.
You passed the class. Got the credential. Went back to work.
And now:

Your team ignores the Scrum Guide
Story points are a mess
Planning feels like guesswork
Stakeholders don't care about agile values

You didn't miss something. They just didn't teach the messy reality part.
The three anti-patterns killing your delivery:

Standups that are status reports to you (instead of team coordination)
Sprint planning that fills capacity (instead of committing to outcomes)
Retros where nothing changes (because you identified problems but didn't build safety to fix them)

"How to Do Better Scrum" addresses exactly these problems. No more vague theory—110 minutes of practical tools you can use Monday.
Includes The Scrum Master Files eBook with real case studies showing what broke and how to fix it.

Your meetings are broken. Let me show you how to fix them. 🧱
I used to watch the same 3 people dominate while everyone else zoned out. No decisions. No alignment. Just wasted time.
Then I discovered LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®.
In March, I'm hosting Robert Rasmussen — co-creator of this method — for a 4-day certification at West End Conference Center.
What makes LSP different:
Traditional brainstorming rewards loud voices. LSP ensures 100% participation — everyone builds with LEGO® bricks before sharing.
What happens:
🧩 Quiet innovators finally get heard
🧠 Teams solve months-old problems
💬 Complex strategies become tangible
🤝 Real trust builds through creation
🎯 Your facilitation becomes your advantage
Instead of talking ABOUT ideas, teams build them, explore together, and discover solutions that stick.
Why train with the co-creator?
Robert invented LSP and refined it over 20+ years across Fortune 500s, NASA, and government agencies worldwide. Learn the authentic methodology, not a watered-down version.
Who should attend:
→ Facilitators wanting breakthrough tools
→ Agile coaches tired of same formats
→ Consultants needing deeper engagement
→ Leaders exhausted by unproductive meetings
→ Anyone believing collaboration should create value
