It is not easy to let go of a barn that has had so many helpers who made this little hope of mine a reality and that has exceeded any expectations I had. However, I have grown to know and trust Jason and Tim this past year or so and without hesitation I know that their love of the game and philosophy on player development matches my own. I’m looking forward to continuing the adventure. This year I am thankful for being part of the team at The Dugout!

Mid Michigan Heat just wrapped up their season in style by winning the 14U Petoskey Waterfront Tournament. They put up fantastic stats this travel season while playing a challenging schedule. A huge shout out to these two pitchers I get to hang out with in the barn. There is nothing better than seeing their smiles when the countless hours of hard work and their family’s unwavering support pays off. Congratulations to the entire team on one heck of a season!

A shout out to a couple great coaches and some great players who just achieved their 100th program win in a 3 year time frame. Sage DeMull and Jasse Akin aren’t pictured but should be-great work coaches! I’m so fortunate to be able to be such a tiny part of something these families have built over the years. I’m one of their biggest fans!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there today. Whether you find yourself catching on a bucket, shuttling her to practices, running her water in between innings, keeping those uniforms looking brand new-the list is endless-today is your day! Know that we all appreciate you and couldn’t do it without you!

And of course I have to give a shout out to the 2 moms in my life that keep me going! I wouldn’t be in the position I am to make this post without them.
