Many of you may have noticed, some more than others, we have just increased our speeds for a majority of our customers! That's right, at no additional charge to you, we have increased the allowed bandwidth to a majority of our customers. Many will see closer to 30mbps rather than 10mbps.

Over the past 2 decades we have come a long ways and drastically improved our network reliability, speed, and sustainability. Many moons ago we offered 1.5mbps for 45/mo, then we went up to 3mbps, then 7, then 10mbps all for the same price.

Although we have opened up the gates on bandwidth to our end users, this is still in early stages of testing, monitoring, and optimizing. As time progresses we will more easily be able to detect and adjust our network in areas where things may not be quiet as optimized as others. So at this time we are still doing "best effort" 10mbps for our Platinum package clients but we have opened those limits to 35mbps. --Jason

We are also still offering 100mbps for 100 bucks in St. Maries (select locations need surveyed) and some locations around Lake CDA.

One of our key clients hired us to build a VHF link between 2 locations, one in Washington and one in Worley, Id. Half of the link is complete and in the next week or so we will complete the other side. This link allows the client to use their 2-way radio system between both of their locations and surrounding areas without having to change channels between the areas. Essentially linking multiple repeaters together with an independent radio link that does not rely on outside sources such as the internet.

Today was a good day for the Conkling Park area for internet :) We upgraded some hardware and replaced our 15 year old plastic box, along with Dc power plant conversion. This site was only good for about 15 min during a power outage, now it will stay online for about 10 days!! Have family or friends in the area? Have them give us a call for internet! 208-245-8400

Mission Complete-!! Lake CDA customers only-- We are going to be upgrading a critical location in Carlin Bay, this will disrupt all services on the lake for a short period of time. Our tech and myself are hoping to not be offline for more than about 15 minutes. Our core router and managed switch will be replaced with upgraded hardware and our cabinet disaster of cables will also be cleaned up. -- Jason

A great start to the day! Seriously :) Our most recent comment this morning-

We have a customer who has been struggling to see and get the bandwidth in which we provide them, they were just never getting what they should be. After going several rounds on this for a few months, and many tests on our side showing the connection was fantastic- I still tried to find a way to make this a LEADER problem, but I was just simply not able to duplicate the issue with our equipment.

I advised the customer to check some of their QOS and priority settings in their router. Low and behold they had prioritization enabled but not configured correctly, immediately after they disabled that service on their router, all their issues immediately cleared up. We are so thankful to hear their marriage will be happy again!

In coming weeks, we will be migrating our email services from one server over to another one. While we prepare the best we can for this, we will anticipate some brief disruptions in those services while DNS and other things populate around the globe of our changes. I will post updates when we flip the switch :) Our existing server has been doing very well considering it is nearing 20 years old not to mention it runs 24/7! With this, there will be a new webmail interface which is more user friendly. --Jason
