Stop hiring these kinds of website designers!

Trust us, you don't want to hire someone who will simply take orders from you. You are hiring them to be website EXPERTS, no order-takers.

If your website designer isn't telling you what you SHOULD do, fire them right away. They may be able to design and build, but they need to be able to guide you to make good marketing decisions that will result in an EFFECTIVE website that converts visitors to customers.

Your website team should always include a strategist who can guide you to make good decisions about your website. Decisions that are EFFECTIVE, not just adhering to preferences.

But, you should also work with a design/dev team that has a great portfolio of websites that you actually like the look and feel of.
