A beautiful setting for our visit to Penland School of Craft, where we facilitated a retreat in preparation for strategic planning. The pinwheels were "A collective effort from Penland's Spring Concentration participants, who carved sticks and made paper for these pinwheels on a pleasant spring day. Dedicated to sixty cool people and new, vibrant friendships."

What's on your reading list, Jeff? "The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny by Kiran Desai. It has broken my heart, made me angry, and gotten me so curious about the cultural differences not only between myself and the characters, but also between the generations in the story. It unfolds at a pace that really causes me to savor moments, rather than speeding ahead to the next twist, turn, or reveal."
