Belonging begins with designing around the lives people actually live.

We’re proud to share that Wadaag Commons has received a 2026 CREDA Award of Excellence in the Multi-Family Mid-Rise (5–7 Stories) category.

In Somali, Wadaag means “to share”—an idea reflected throughout this affordable, family-oriented apartment community in Minneapolis. Developed by Noor Companies and Redesign, the 39-home community was shaped to support multigenerational families through thoughtful, culturally responsive design.

One- to four-bedroom homes offer flexibility for a range of household needs, while shared amenities and outdoor spaces create opportunities for connection and well-being. Extensive collaboration with stakeholders and future residents helped shape a housing model centered on dignity, affordability, sustainability, and long-term livability.

As the final phase of the Seward Commons redevelopment, Wadaag Commons also demonstrates what can happen when persistence, partnership, and community insight come together on a complex urban site.

Good adaptive reuse does more than preserve a building - it creates new possibilities within it.

We’re proud to share that Hunt Electric's headquarters in Eagan has received a 2026 CREDA Award of Excellence in the Renovated / Tenant Improvements category.

Working closely with Hunt Electric’s leadership, Pope Design Group transformed a complex existing facility into a dynamic, future-ready headquarters that reflects the national electrical firm’s culture, capabilities, and continued growth.

Strategic planning brings collaborative workspaces, advanced training facilities, and hospitality-driven amenities together within one cohesive environment - supporting daily operations, employee connection, and long-term flexibility while extending the life of the existing structure.

The result demonstrates what thoughtful adaptive reuse can accomplish: aligning brand identity, operational efficiency, employee experience, and scalability without starting from the ground up.

Complex care, brought together with clarity.

We’re proud to share that Summit Orthopedics’ Plymouth Bass Lake Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center has received a 2026 CREDA Award of Excellence in the Medical / Medical Office category.

The 78,000 SF medical hub brings clinic, surgery, imaging, physical therapy, and urgent care services together in one location. As architect and interior designer, Pope Design Group helped shape a patient-first environment that supports accessibility, convenience, and comfort while accommodating complex clinical operations.

The first phase of The Boulevard redevelopment, this project also brings new purpose to the former Prudential corporate campus - creating a comprehensive orthopedic-care destination for the northwest metro and supporting Summit Orthopedics’ continued growth.

We’re proud to share that Fairview Seven Lakes Pharmacy in Shoreview has received a 2026 CREDA Award of Excellence in the Light Industrial – High Finish category.

Yesterday we got to celebrate the retirement of Jim Johnson, Senior Project Manager on our Healthcare team, as he kicked off the closure of a nearly 40-year architectural career and the start of a new adventure.

An avid runner, hockey player, golfer, explorer, dog trainer, and so many other hobbies, we know this guy definitely won't be bored in this next phase of life.
