𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞: 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬.

i think its pretty safe to say we have all felt this way at one point or another, & we hated it. im gonna give you 5 signs to look out for if you feel like you’re going into that downward spiral.

👎🏽 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲: you’re having a constant feeling of uneasiness when thinking about work & your success.

👎🏽 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: you’re feeling like you’re not capable of the standard you’re trying to hold yourself to.

👎🏽 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦: you’re having negative thoughts when thinking about yourself or your business, telling yourself you’re not good enough.

👎🏽 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐭: you’re doubting your capabilities in achieving the level of “success” you’re looking for.

👎🏽 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬: you’re looking at other peoples success & comparing it to your own journey.

so i was listening to this podcast

its the by , founder of and this particular episode talked about “the hustle”.

and as I was listening to her talk about how everyone now is so big on self care and taking time off and setting boundaries with your business so it doesn’t take up all your time,
and how she didn’t agree, i realized that i too didn’t entirely agree with it.

i recommend you listen to the episode yourself but Alex was basically saying that business owners shouldn’t be shamed for 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 to work a lot and not taking a lot of “self care” time off. she talked about how she loves her job and most of the time it doesn’t feel like work because she’s having so much fun.

once I heard that something clicked in my head too. she was totally right. ive been shaming myself for the last few weeks because i was working during times that i could have been “relaxing”. the thing is i would rather be working than watching tv or scrolling on my phone. to me, my work is way more fun than doing those things, and that’s okay!

i had gotten so used to hearing everyone tell me that i 𝐡𝐚𝐝 to take time off, that once my “work hours” are over i should disconnect. but.. didn’t i become a business owner because i didn’t want to have to follow set work hours?

dont get me wrong, my weekends are still reserved for relaxation (mostly), but if i’m not doing much but sit around at home i don’t think i should feel bad because i want to work. i do still try to keep a healthy balance of work and time for myself, if i need a mental health day, best believe i will take it. but its a nice weight off my shoulders to realize that there’s nothing wrong with wanting to work a lot sometimes.

its super important to be easily accessible. people like things to be easy 🤷🏽‍♀️ and having your website in your bio is a game changer. not only will it help increase traffic to your website, but more people on your website = more leads.
