Sunlake Cubesmart in Lutz Florida is coming along nicely. This 105,000 SF facility will open November 1st. It features tilt wall construction and has a decorative brick veneer that is going to be spectacular. Design matters.

Sunlake Storage on SR 54 in Lutz, Florida has broken ground. This 105,000 SF facility is for one of our best clients. We are once again working with The Diaz Fritz Group as Contractor. This represents Icon's fifth groundbreaking in the last six months, with three more facilities in our current pipeline! It is a very exciting time to be a Self Storage Developer.

Dramatic late night concrete slab pour on one of our storage projects South of Jacksonville. Why a night pour?
1. Better access to concrete trucks and ready mix when they are not serving other jobs.
2. Cooler temperatures slow the concrete hardening which makes it more workable. Also better for the crews doing the hard work.
3. Allows the finishers to complete their work earlier in the day. These large pours are 12+ hour days.
4. Less likely to rain late at night in the Summer time.

It is happening in Land O'Lakes. Ground breaking March 10th, gets us right into foundations in mid-April. This 100,000 SF Terrace Storage Center will feature 20 covered RV/Boat storage spots. This high visibility site is the fourth storage project with our Client. Opening early 2026!

This is Day 8 of tilt wall er****on at the Sarasota CubeSmart Self Storage project. This stage of construction is where we really see the payoff in choosing tilt wall structures! Lower manpower requirements than other wall systems gets the project topped out more quickly. This facility will OPEN in about 6 months!

Our Tamiami Trail CubeSmart project in Sarasota reaches a significant milestone with tilt wall construction commencing this past Wednesday. This tilting process will go very quickly, followed by structural steel. This construction method is faster and produces a better, stronger building than other systems used within the storage industry. Icon remains committed to this system and we presently have 7 additional facilities in the development pipeline throughout the Central West Florida Region. This building will have a roof on it within 60 days!

Our CubeSmart managed facility is coming out of the ground in Sarasota. Scheduled to open by Summer 2025. This 95,000 SF Center includes 5,000 SF of retail in line space, which continues an industry trend of Cities and Counties desire to have mixed use buildings.
