SEWP VI small-business opportunities are about to get very interesting.
NASA anticipates a November 1 start, but SEWP VI is not simply a larger technology catalog with a new number attached.
Order-level NAICS decisions can change which companies qualify as small for a particular requirement. All three categories will also support small-business set-asides at the order level, creating opportunities that may look very different from one order to the next.
That leaves contractors with two very different assignments.
Awardees need to be operationally ready before the first meaningful RFQ arrives. Non-awardees need to identify where they fit into an awardee’s delivery model before teaming rosters begin filling up.
Our new article examines:
• Why order-level NAICS codes can reshape the competitive field
• Where small-business set-asides may appear
• What awardees should complete during the next 90 days
• How non-awardees can pursue teaming, subcontracting, OEM, reseller, and catalog relationships
A prime seat is valuable, but it is not the only way onto SEWP VI.
