After two years of running these events, the pattern I keep watching is this: the same person behaves completely differently depending on the channel.
Guys who tell us on the phone they haven't had luck in years, drop them into a vetted room and they're in real conversations that actually go somewhere.
Women who say the apps aren't panning out...those same women, in the same week, are fully present in a room where everyone has been vetted the same way.
Nothing about them changed. The channel changed.
That's the part dating content keeps getting wrong. It tells you to fix yourself. Sometimes that's right. But most of the time, the issue isn't who you are. It's the room you keep showing up to.
Apps strip out what makes you you. The bar forces a performance she didn't ask for. A vetted room lets presence do the work because the screening already happened before either of you sat down.
