Creativity grows when students begin making each project their own. These decorative stained glass birdhouses started from the same base design, but each student chose different embellishments and details to personalize their piece.

One added climbing vines with roses and leaves for a whimsical garden feel, while the other kept a simpler floral design with clean accents and a bright bird detail. It’s always exciting to watch confidence build as students move beyond the pattern and begin adding their own artistic voice to the work.

New stained glass butterfly workshops will be announced later this week.

One workshop is designed for beginners with no prior stained glass experience. A second workshop will be offered for those looking to continue building their skills while incorporating wire elements into their finished suncatchers.

Project previews and additional details will be shared soon.

Give a shout out to Shannon Lyn for her lighthouses! Exceptional job using direction of the glass. Recreating the lighthouse from her hometown, makes these even more special.
