Dana began using essential oils in 2013 to help with head tension and seasonal respiratory struggles. She quickly experienced results that other options could not help. This led Dana on a path she did not expect- a love for helping others with health issues that they struggle with and cannot find solutions for that help make a difference.

Dana loves to spend time with friends, being outside, and traveling. Life’s experiences have taught Dana to keep an open mind and see differences as opportunities to learn and grow.

Larry Ulmer began his graphic design career with a small ad agency in suburban Cleveland, Ohio. Upon moving to Portland in 1978, he handled print design and pre-press work for a vitamin manufacturer. Going freelance in the 1980s he worked for a variety of clients and gained extensive experience in the wood products and restaurant industries. He has been self-employed for 43.5 of his 48 years as a graphic designer!

Still freelancing today, he resides in Salem with his wife Wendy. He enjoys cross-country skiing and auto restoration.

Join BNI Salem Partners for Success - Salem, ORs we hear from our featured speaker, ✱⁎∗*✤܍ 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐜𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐤 ܍✤*∗⁎✱, as she shares how RISE Services Inc has supported families in Oregon Communities and transformed lives over the last 35 years:

I have grown up in Oregon my entire life and went to school at Oregon State University to study Psychology and Gender Studies. I have been passionate about helping those in need for as long as I can remember. My mom worked in the schools supporting kids with Autism and I always admired her patience and compassion for everyone she worked with. I suppose that is what drew me into this field and why I can't see myself doing anything else! About 5 and a half years ago, I stumbled across a posting for a DSP Position at RISE Services on Craigslist and I decided to apply. It turned out to be the best decision I could have made for myself. RISE is a non-profit organization that provides support to individuals living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We are able to support our individuals in multiple capacities and have been doing so for nearly 36 years. Our mission is to Create Opportunities for and with People, and we continue to do so every day.

In my presentation, I will be going over the development of RISE over the last 3 decades and sharing the amazing work that so many of the leaders within our company are doing every day.
